Gout as per Ayurvedic Concept
In the science of Ayurveda, Gout is also called as vatarakht. The name is so because Vata (air) affects rakhtadu and since Vata here is vitiated, vata doshas arise. This dosha is created due to poor food condition and consuming spicy, alkaline, heavy, oily foods at an excess level. The vitiated doshas, thus moves to all other parts of the body and damages the joints and tissues and thus results in gout.
Other factors like lack of sleep, trauma, too much traveling, over excessive sexual activities, indulging in excessively in physical exercises, suppressing natural calls and urges , sleeping during the day time are few other factors that lead to formation of Gout. Herbal diet and lifestyle medicates the health and purifies blood.
