Due to the circulatory failure cause, the extra renal disorder actually results in situations where there might be obstruction of the flow of urine. The damage faced by kidney, decides the degree of affection of the failure of being either acute or chronic.
As per the ayurvedic perspective, this disease is caused as a result of blockage of certain body channels also known as srotas. The particular channels are called as mutravahasrotas that perform the channel passage of urine and perform the in and out process of kidney. The srotas, if affected by the blockage, thus denies passage of any liquid to the kidneys and chances of shrinkage rises. Swelling occurs in case of outgoing channels are blocked. Ayurvedic herb called Punanarva is useful in repairing the problem and cleaning the channel and restore kidneys.
Ayurvedic approach is to restore the complete functioning and shape of the kidneys. This process can be useful rather than performing dialysis.
