Liver Transplant
When other alternate treatments fail a liver transplantation is suggested. A healthy river replaces the diseased liver in this case. Auxiliary Transplantation
Basically the auxiliary liver transplantation is done by the implantation of a right or left hemi liver into the abdominal cavity by which the normal function of liver is temporarily resumed. In the mean time recuperation of the native liver begins. After the recovery of the native liver, removal of graft can be done or it is left in place leading to atrophy, without immunosuppressant.
Multi-disciplinary Testing
For confirming the blood type blood tests are done, it is also done for confirming coagulation , haematology, hepatitis screens, chemistries evaluate serum and viral studies. HIV (AIIDS) must be tested before doing a liver transplantation. Without your permission the test results are never revealed, they are kept confidential.
