When a small burning tumour is caused on the eyelid, it is called Stye. It is caused by infection on the eye, or conjunctivitis of the eye. The skin under the eyebrow especially the lower lid is affected by Stye.

Through Ayurveda one can cleanse nourish the affected eyes with ointments. To completely ensure that the disease does not come back again, it is recommended that one builds his immunity system properly.
